At Buchanan Nursery, we take the time to understand your child so that we can provide nursery care to suit their needs, encouraging learning in a fun, friendly environment.
A private nursery based in Bearsden, Glasgow, we are open 5 days a week, 51 weeks of the year and welcome children from birth to 5 years. We support children in developing as unique individuals, encouraging learning through play to gain skills that will aid them at home and through their educational journey.

DEDICATED TEAM
Our dedicated team provide high quality childcare for babies from birth up to children aged 5 years, and take pride in our reputation locally for providing a flexible and friendly service. There is an ongoing focus on building individual relationships with each child, and making sure they enjoy the many activities on offer.
INTERGENERATIONAL LEARNING
We know that participation in intergenerational activities can greatly improve the social and emotional skills of children. We are immensely proud of our close links with local care homes and enjoy lots of visits and activities throughout the year, such as cooking and baking classes, which are always lots of fun and eagerly anticipated.
FLEXIBLE CHILDCARE
We pride ourselves on offering flexible childcare all year round. With the nursery set in its own grounds, we are proud of the high quality, safe and secure indoor and outdoor facilities for all age groups. All meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and milk are provided.
Open Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year
Full day session: 8.00am to 6.00pm
Morning session: 8.00am to 1.00pm
Afternoon session: 1.00pm to 6.00pm
FUN LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
At Buchanan Nursery we promote play-based education and adhere to national guidance from the Curriculum for Excellence. To do this we have developed an inspirational learning environment for our children and ensure there are always plenty of activities going on each day to help them grow and develop.
As well as fully equipped playrooms, we also offer large, secure outdoor play areas which allow little ones to experiment with play resources, build dens, explore nature and enjoy planting and growing activities.
